Hi Everyone,

Do you know what made David a hero and eventually King? Goliath! What? 

Read 1 Samual. 17:1-58 and 18:6-16.

Yes, yes, God chose him and sent Samuel to anoint him, but God used Goliath, what the enemy sent to destroy, God turned it around for good! He couldn't just send David into the palace if no one knew who he was, so He used Goliath, to make David a hero.

Does that sound familiar? 

How many times has the enemy put a stumbling block in your path to try to hinder or even destroy you? But God has the last say! Praise God!


Romans 8:28 tells us " God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God."

Deuteronomy 23:5 " He turned the intended curse. into a blessing because the Lord. God loves you."

 John 11:1-44 "When Lazarus died everyone thought it was over but Jesus used it to display the power of God."

Romans. 8:37 says "We are more than conquerors..."

 

In the NLT it says, "Despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us!"

God used Paul's prison cell to write half of the New Testament.

He used the jealousy of Joseph's brothers to make him governor of Egypt.

(Genesis. 37-41) "The iron chain around his feet ushered the golden chain around his neck."

I've heard it said that we live life forward but understand it backward.

When we face giant difficulties or obstacles in our life, remember they are not there to destroy you but to strengthen you and promote you to the next level! 

So do you have a giant in your life?

Remember, it can not defeat a child of the Highest God! (Deuteronomy· 20: 3-4, 1 John 5:4-5)

So go out and face your giant because you already have the victory, Jesus did it all on the cross!
