Abraham“He was fully convinced that God was able to do whatever He promises.” (Romans 4:21). The AMP version says Abraham was…“Fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His Word and to do what He had promised."

David“The Lord who rescued me from the claws of the lion and the bear will rescue me from this Philistine.” (1 Samuel 17:37)

Daniel – King Darius says to Daniel… “Daniel, servant of the living God! Was your God whom you serve so faithfully, able to rescue you from the lions?” (Daniel 6:20)

Paul“I know the One in whom I trust, and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until the day of His return.” (2 Timothy 1:12)

Why were all these men convinced that God was able?

Because they knew their God! Not just heard about Him or read about Him, but they had spent many hours with Him and had come to know Him and trust Him.

They believed that He was able!

Have a read of each of these events and then ask yourself...

  • How big is my God?

  • How powerful is He?

  • Is He bigger than any situation or obstacle I may face?

I say yes, yes, yes! More than able!!!

So, what do you say? Are you convinced that God is able?

If not perhaps it’s time to get to know Him better.

In these ever-changing days of unpredictability, challenge, fear and confusion in the world, we need to know our God, so that we too can stand with confidence as shining lights and declare…

“My God is Able!”

“Now all glory to God, Who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” (Ephesians 3:20)

God Bless you all and have a great week!

Love Giovanna!
