Hi Everyone,

Recently I had a situation that could only be explained as the “Hand of God!”

We were going to pick up a few of our grandchildren from school about 30-40 km away from our place. Before we left, I had put ½ a pot of water on the stovetop, intending to turn the gas off before we left. I was going to throw pasta in there when we got back with the children because, as you know, children are always starving when they get home from school.

Well, we were almost at the school when I remembered that I’d forgotten to turn off the gas! “Oh no!” I cried out! My husband was not impressed!

“We have to pray right away!” I told him, so we prayed and asked God to help. Well, we were gone for about 3 hrs by the time we got back, and we wondered if the house would still be there when we got back or burned down! Yes, great faith, I know!

As we drove up our street, the house was still there. I ran inside expecting the pot to be burnt and the smell of smoke throughout the house, but no, the water was still boiling in the pot! How can that be?

Impossible, you say? Yes! That’s why it had to be God!!!

I realised that it’s the same in our lives. How many times have you been in a “boiling pot” situation and, by the grace of God, did not burn up and out?

Are you in a situation like that at the moment? Why not pray and surrender it into God’s hand?

Luke 1:37 says, “For nothing is impossible with God.”

He is still the God of the impossible! The greater the impossibility, the greater the miracle! He specialises in the impossible! In Jeremiah 32:17, he says… “Nothing is impossible with YOU.”

“God loves with a special love the man who has a passion for the impossible.” (Gen. William Booth)
“God can make miracles out of mistakes” (J. Meyer)

In Mark 10:27 it says, “Looking at them, Jesus said, ‘With man it is impossible but not with God, for all things are possible with God.’”

I’ve been a Christian for 36 years, and my God never ceases to amaze me with His amazing love, mercy and mighty power! He always arrives at just the right time to rescue us, even if it was our fault and that we find ourselves in a ‘boiling pot’ situation!

Do you need to call on Him for help?

Do it now and stand back and watch Him take over!

“For you are great and perform great miracles! You alone are God.” (Psalm 86:10)
