Hi Everyone,

Two years ago, we decided to start renovations on our house, (which we still haven’t finished!) and we decided to start in our kitchen area, so we went out to shop for an oven, cooktop and rangehood etc. but we didn’t take them home we asked them to hold them in their storeroom (even though they had been paid in full) until we were ready to pick them up, so they were stamped with sold and paid in full and left at the store.

Well, did you know that we have been stamped and sealed by God? and when He’s ready Jesus is coming back to pick us up! In John 14:2-3 Jesus said that He was going away to prepare a place for us and He would come back to pick us up and take us back with Him. You see, He paid for us on the cross, with His precious Blood (1 Peter 1:18-19) He paid in full. Meanwhile, we’ve been sealed with the beautiful Holy Spirit waiting for His return.

“Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set His seal of ownership on us, and put His Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.” (2 Corinthians 1:2-22)

Except that, unlike appliances that were stored away in boxes awaiting pick up, we need to be sharing the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ, at every opportunity as the time draws closer to our pick up, so that they will get saved, sealed and be ready for pick up also!

I’m sure we all know someone we can share with, in fact, there is a world out there desperate for some hope, and we have the answer! Meanwhile, let’s make sure that we are alert and ready when Jesus comes back.

Yes, the world may be looking gloomy but we have something better in store for the future, in fact, we are sealed for Eternity! (Ephesians 1:7)

“And you were also included in Christ when you heard the Word of Truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, Who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession – To the praise of His glory.” (Ephesians 1:13-14)

God Bless you all and have a great week!
Love Giovanna!
