Hi Everyone,

Have a read of Deuteronomy 1:6-8. In vs. 6-7 God says to them, "You have stayed at this mountain long enough. It is time to break camp and move on..."Then in vs. 8 He goes on to say "Look, I Am giving all this land to you! Go in and occupy it..."

Yet their fear was greater than their faith and as soon as they were faced with a challenge they refused to move on.  So their unbelief of what God had said kept them wandering around the wilderness for 40 years on a journey that could have taken only 11 days.

You might think that's ridiculous! Didn't they remember the Red Sea? Yet how many times have we hesitated to move at God's promises to us? Am I the only one? Have a read of Numbers 13:1-14:45 the full story.

Made me think if our enemy, the devil, he can't stop you from leaving Egypt, (getting saved) he will do his best to try and stop you from entering your promised land! He will have you wandering in the wilderness for as long as he can! Don't let him! Some of us have been doing just that, but enough is enough! Time to enter Your promised land!

You may be going through a difficult situation but Romans 8:37 says that we are more than conquerors, even during these times and we can be sure that if Jesus is our Lord and Savior, then we have the victory because Jesus was victorious when He died on that cross and rose again on Resurrection day! He did it all for us, He broke the curse that had been on mankind from Genesis.

1 John 3:8 says " For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil.“

Don't expect to walk in without a fight, but it will be worth it. Paul says in 1 Timothy 6:12 "to fight the good fight of faith..."

In Mark 4:35 Jesus told His disciples to go to the other side of the lake but even though it was at Jesus's command, they still had to get through the storm.

"Christ said, 'Let's go to the other side', not to the middle to be drowned!" (Quote from. D. Crawford)

If you're going through a storm at the moment, trust Him, He will get you to the other side. The storm will not overtake you if you have Jesus in your boat, in fact, the experience will actually build your faith and add to your list of testimonies, of God's goodness and faithfulness.

God has given each of us a promised land to enter, where we will be most fruitful and find the fullness of joy and peace. So let's all make the effect as believers to believe what our Heavenly Father has promised us in His Word and make this year a year of breakthroughs in our lives!

"For I can do everything through Christ who gives me the strength." (Philippians 4:13)
"For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world..." (1 John 5:5)
