Hi Everyone,

Have you ever had a morning when you wake up to all these thoughts of the day and before you know it, you’re worrying and you haven’t even got out of bed? I have, that’s why as soon as I wake up, I start praising God, it keeps my thoughts in line and gives me a good start to the day!

It’s actually not our circumstances that control our lives but the way we think about our circumstances.

You’ve probably heard, “When life gives you lemons – make lemonade.”

Charles Swindoll says… “The longer I live the more convinced I become that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we respond to it.”

It is possible to be in a battle and yet still be in perfect peace and even full of joy! JESUS said so! (John 16:33, John 14:27, Philippians 4:8)

Look at Paul and Silas in prison and in chains. (Acts 16:22-34)

This was not a comfortable hotel room prison with TV, WIFI and three meals a day. They were in a dungeon, probably with rats running around them. Yet they were not moved by their situation, they continued to sing praises to God and as they did, not only were their chains broken and they were set free, but the other prisoners (who had been listening) chains fell off and they were set free also!

Wow! Not only does it make a difference to us when we choose to think and act in a Godly way, but it affects those listening to us as well! So, if you’re feeling a little negative about your present situation make a choice to replace those thoughts with what God’s Word says and lift your voice and praise Him!

For He has promised to deliver us from all our troubles. (Psalm 34:17)

He also says that He will never leave us nor forsake us. (Hebrews 13:5-6)

You’ll be amazed at how much better you’ll feel when you begin to thank God and praise Him for what He has already done! And the difference it will make to those around you. So, whether you’re alone or on Zoom with friends let’s choose to praise our way through this difficult time of restrictions and come out stronger on the other side!

“Always be full of joy in the Lord, I say it again – rejoice!...Don’t worry about anything instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:4-7)

God Bless you all and have a great week!

Love Giovanna!
