Hi Everyone,

"Come on Nonna, let's go to the park!" My 4-year-old granddaughter was pleading. "Nonna's got a bit of a headache". I replied, "Ok Nonna, I'll pray for you!" she answered. So she did, she prayed a sweet innocent but direct prayer and ended with a "Thank you, Jesus, for healing Nonna, Amen! Ok Nonna, now let's go to the park!"

Ha Ha! Is that cheeky or is it childlike faith?

Jesus said in Luke 18:16-17 (AMP)

"Allow the little children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for to such (as these) belongs the Kingdom of God. Truly I say to you, whoever does not accept and receive and welcome the Kingdom of God like a little child does, shall not in any way enter it."

Matthew 18:3 (AMP) says

"Unless you repent (change) and become like little children (trusting) you can never enter the Kingdom of heaven."

Wow! That's challenging to some of us because our brains get in the way! We try to reason everything out and Google doesn't help! In fact, Google can be an obstacle to faith!

Abraham believed in God. (Romans 4:17-25, Hebrews 11:8-11 and 17-19). Romans 4:21 says

"He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever He promises."

If he had googled it, it would have told him that it was impossible to have a child at that age. Now let's get this right, Jesus didn't say to be childish but childlike, receiving whatever God says in His WORD, no questions asked! If He said it, then it is. (Genesis 1:2-26)

K. Hogin, the healing evangelist would say, "If the Bible says it - I believe it - that settles it!"

Read John 4:46-54 (vs 50) says "The man took Jesus at His WORD and departed."

So simple yet we struggle so much with it!

Another time I prayed for one of my grandchildren who had a sore throat, as soon as I finished praying she got up and went off to play. The next day I rang and asked how she was feeling, her response was, "Jesus healed me Nonna, remember, you prayed for me, silly Nonna!"

Yes, silly Nonna! I think children can teach us something, childlike faith, that's what God wants that we would just believe what He says!

"I Am the Lord, the God of all mankind, Is anything too hard for me?" (Jeremiah 32:27)

"What do you mean, 'if I can'? Jesus asked. 'Anything is possible if a person believes." (Mark 9:23)
