Hi Everyone,

Read John 14:15-27.

Yes, I’m talking about the Holy Spirit, He is your best friend!

Recently as I was having a quiet time in God’s presence this Word came to me. (12/11/21).

“Stand back and see what the Holy Spirit is about to do!”

He wants to speak to us and lead us down the right path for our lives. A path of blessing, healing, protection, and prosperity! He wants to give us direction and open the right doors for us, whether it be in family life, work or ministry, He knows what’s best! He wants to comfort and counsel us in our pain and confusion. It’s time to let go of the steering wheel and let him into the driver’s seat.

For too long He’s been ignored and because of that we’ve got ourselves into situations that caused us problems or just didn’t work out because we didn’t listen to the Holy Spirit’s leading and went ahead and did it our way! Now it's time! If we are really people of God, filled with the Spirit of God, then we need to listen to Him!

Ephesians 4:30 says “Do not grieve the Holy Spirit…” When we read that we often think of sins like stealing, immorality, lying etc. but I believe we can grieve the Holy Spirit by ignoring Him also. He wants to be part of your everyday life, not just when you run into problems.

1 Corinthians 6:19 says, “Don’t you realise that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God?” Let’s treat Him with the respect that He deserves. Jesus said that He would be sent by the Father to continue what He had begun. That means He wants to work through us to touch others. To bring healing, hope, peace and restoration to those we meet.

He is part of the Godhead and has been working with God since the beginning! (Genesis 1:2)

Has He been speaking to you?

Maybe He has and He’s been ignored? Or not recognized? Or maybe you’ve been too busy to stop and listen?

Let’s make the effort to slow down and listen to His leading. “When the Father sends the Advocate as MY representative – that is, the Holy Spirit – He will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.” (John 14:26)
