Hi Everyone,

Have you noticed it's Christmas already! For me it's such a busy time, an expensive time, an exhausting time of buying, wrapping, cooking and preparing. But I love it!

I love having a house full of excited children and every year they all sit and listen as I tell them the real story of Christmas. Most of them listen very patiently because they know that presents come after the story of Jesus!

Deuteronomy 4:9 says "Do not let these memories escape from your mind as long as you live! and be sure to pass them on to your children and grandchildren."

As Christians, it's our privilege to 'Pass it on!' We are to tell our children, grandchildren and children in faith, as Paul called Timothy, Titus and Onesimus.

We are to share with them our own testimonies of God's goodness in our lives! Don't keep it to yourself!  We all have a testimony of what God rescued us from!

Share it! It's powerful!

Grab every opportunity, they may seem like they are not really listening to times but as they get older and the situation arises, they will remember your words and will know who to turn to.

Mums and Dad’s, you can give your children the most expensive gifts and all they want or you may have nothing to give them but in the end, it’s all about Jesus! He is the best present given to the world! (John 3:16)

Tell them about Jesus' birth, about His death and resurrection! How He's your Saviour, Healer, Provider, Protector and Deliverer etc. How He the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and He's coming back again!

Read John 1:1-14. How amazing is the Christmas story! Jesus, the Word of God, He was with God from the beginning, He was the Creator of all things! And yet He chose to take on flesh, beginning from a teenager’s womb and become man!

That beautiful baby in the cradle was the man that hung on that cross to die for you and me, and our children, and our grandchildren, and for all people, no matter what colour, race, nationality, rich, poor, educated or illiterate, for the disabled and the able, for the celebrities or the unknown!

He was born to die for us all. To die that we might live!

Wow! What amazing love! (1 John 3:1)

So as we all gather together with our families and friends this Christmas, don't just pass the ham or turkey or whatever is on the table, but remember it's Jesus' story and pass it on!

Jesus is the best gift we can pass on to the next generation and what they need the most!

Deuteronomy 11:19 "Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you're getting up."
