Hi Everyone,

Have you ever watched the programme on TV called ‘Who do you think you are?’ It’s all about people searching into their ancestry. As I watched one of these programs, I started thinking about this in the spiritual, and I began thinking, I know who I am in the natural, but who am I in the spiritual?

This is what I believe the Holy Spirit showed me.

  1. I am a Child of the MOST HIGH GOD!
    The God Who created the stars, moon etc, the Creator of the Universe, is my Father. (John 1:12) says, “Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in HIS NAME, HE gave the right to become children of God….”
    Wow! That’s just amazing! We should never fear anything if we keep that in mind.
    More Scriptures – Jeremiah 29:11, 2 Corinthians 5:17, 1 John 4:4, 5:4-5 , Galatians 4:7, Ephesians 1:5, Philippians 2:15, Colossians 4:7, Ephesians 5:1 says “Be imitators of God, therefore as dearly loved children…"



  2. I am bought and washed by the BLOOD of JESUS!
    1 Peter 1:18-19 says “For you know that God paid a ransom to save you… And it was not paid with mere gold or silver… It was the precious lifeblood of Christ, the sinless, spotless LAMB of GOD.” The precious BLOOD of JESUS gives us salvation, healing, deliverance, it allows us entrance into the precence of God. (Hebrews 10:19) There was no other way, Jesus had to be sacrificed and die so that we may live in the presence of a HOLY GOD, because Adam’s sin in Genesis caused us all to become sinful beings from birth. It’s got nothing to do with what we have done but on what was done by Adam and Eve, and so salvation has nothing to do with what we do but on what Jesus has done! Doesn’t that just make you want to fall to your knees and worship?
    We are no longer under the curse that Deuteronomy 28:15-68 talks about, but about under the precious BLOOD of JESUS! Our Saviour and LORD! Praise HIM forever!
    More Scriptures – 1 John 1:7, 1 Peter 2:24, Colossians 1:13-14, Galatians 3:13-14, Ephesians 1:7.

  3. I am filled with the Spirit of the Living GOD!
    Romans 8:11 says “The SPIRIT WHO raised CHRIST from the dead, lives in you…”
    WOW! That is more than our brains can comprehend! If we really think about that we would not allow anything to intimidate us, nothing would scare us, we would stand up boldly and fearlessly in the face of anything we come up against! Have a think about that, let it sink into your heart and mind!
    More Scriptures – Romans 8:37, Ephesians 1:13, 1 Corinthians 6:19, 3:16 and more! Look them up!

We have so much in CHRIST JESUS!

  • Peace – John 14:27
  • Life in Abundance - John 10:10
  • Armour – Ephesians 6:10
  • No weapon formed against us will prosper! – Isaiah 54:17
  • Authority – Luke 1:19
  • Overcomers – 1 John 4:4, 5:5
  • Joint heirs with Christ – Romans 8:17, Galatians 4:7

We are so very blessed! We should be the most joyful people in the world!

So have a think about these 3 points this week!

  1. You are a Child of the Most High God!
  2. You are brought and washed by the blood of Jesus!
  3. You are filled with the SPIRIT of the Living GOD!
